Dried Whole Rose Hips
50 g of whole dried rose hips
Our Rose Hips are wildcrafted from beautiful British Columbia.
After the wild rose bushes have fully blossomed and all the petals have fallen to the ground the rose hips are exposed and begin to slowly mature into their signature robust colour. After the first frost we manage to get out once or maybe twice a season to collect, ensuring we are mindful to only take a few from each plant so that the surrounding wildlife are sure to get their daily meal and the ecosystem can keep thriving.
Rose hips are the fruit of the rose plant offering a slight sweet and nutty flavor with a distinct tart aftertaste. They have many uses such as enhancing skin nourishment when infused into topical safe oils and can also be enjoyed as an additive to tea
